CHS Announces Homecoming Candidates and Activities
Concordia High School Homecoming Week (September 30-October 5, 2024):
2024 Homecoming Candidates: Kinsleigh Bethune, Brigham Chavey, Taylor McDaniel, Dane Cleveland, Aubrey Stahlman, Kaide Gropp, Celsie Stein, Tracer Murdock, Kenlee Williams, and Drew Sterrett
Homecoming week “theme” days:
Monday: PJ’s Day
Tuesday: Anything But a Backpack
Wednesday: Wild West Wednesday
Thursday: Class Color Day (FR-Pink, SOPH-Blue, JR-Purple, SR-Black)
Friday: Panther Spirit Day
Class Parade Float Building
October 1-3, Concordia National Guard Armory, Class floats will be available for decoration. CHS Booster club is
giving each class a float building starter pack. Students may work on the float after school each day, but must have an adult supervisor present. CHS Booster Club will reward the class with the best float, free icecream after the parade.

Pep Rally
Thursday, October 3rd, Broadway Plaza, 9PM. Pep Rally hosted by the Pantherettes.
Parents and community members are invited to attend
Homecoming Parade to the Broadway Plaza
2024 “Parade to the Plaza” includes: homecoming candidates in convertibles, CHS band, class floats, dancers, cheerleaders, fall sports teams, and CHS clubs/organizations.
Parade will take place Friday, October 4th at 2:30 PM, beginning at CHS, traveling down 6th street, and ending at the Broadway Plaza, Downtown Concordia.
USD 333 will have a district-wide early dismissal at 1:30 PM on Friday, October 4th, so that everyone may attend the homecoming parade and assembly.
Homecoming Assembly
Introduction and information about the homecoming candidates, including candidate videos produced by Cat Scratch Productions.
Friday, October 4th
3:00PM, Broadway Plaza (In the event of inclement weather, CHS Auditorium will be used)
Parents and community members are invited to attend.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating
Homecoming Coronation Ceremony
Friday, October 4th Harold M. Clark Stadium, Approximately 6:30 PM, before the football game vs Chapman.
Homecoming Dance
Saturday, October 5th, 9:00 PM-11:00 PM in the CHS Junior Varsity Gym. $5.00 Admission Fee. Students must register outside guests by using the “Permission Form for School Dance” located in CHS office by October 2nd. Outside guests must show photo identification when entering.
